About

From spare part to group of companies.

  1. 01

Design engineering as the starting point

It all starts with an apprenticeship in design engineering: CAD, drawings, tolerances, materials. The craft of turning an idea into a manufacturable part still shapes the way we work at Atagno.

  2. 02

    The spare-parts problem

In industry, a problem came up that many companies know: for older machines there are spare parts that nobody supplies any more. The solution was 3D printing – but getting there was tedious: finding the right manufacturer, clarifying feasibility, collecting quotes. This experience gave rise to the idea for treede: a marketplace that shortens exactly this path for everyone.

  3. 03

    Atagno as the umbrella

The idea became a company, and the company a group: Atagno brings together the businesses under which treede grows – with a team that is currently growing to five people and the ambition to build software that works in the workshop.

Values

  1. 01

    Technical depth

We build what we understand, and understand what we build. Superficial solutions do not last.

  2. 02

    Swiss reliability

Binding in our commitments, clean in execution. We plan for decades, not quarters.

  3. 03

    Close to manufacturing

Software is never an end in itself for us. It has to work in the workshop, on the machine and at the customer’s site.

How we work

Build software ourselves. Stay close to manufacturing.

We develop the tools we need ourselves – and spend time where parts are made. That keeps us close to the problems we solve, and we learn something new every day.

Founder

Founder and mind behind Atagno and treede. Design engineer by trade, software developer out of necessity, entrepreneur by conviction.
